Weekly Beer Can Races
Every Wednesday Night Starting on April 11th, 2012 through October 17th, 2012
Open to the public, Beer Can Races are an informal race utilizing a Rabbit start, i.e. no race committee. The public are asked to wear appropriate clothing: non-marking deck shoes, life jackets and clothing which can get wet. Course is around the local marks or CANS. The Beer part of Beer Can Races is self explanatory. Meet in Regatta Room at 5:30 PM, sign up as crew, sign up for dinner choice then have fun!
We leave the docks at approximately 6:00 PM, racing is typically finished by 8:00 PM. Dinner has been prepared while we\'re out having fun! It\'s a great way to get exposed to sailing on the bay. Meet the skipper\'s and get a taste of what sailboat racing is all about.
For those who become more serious about the sport, arrange to crew on a boat during the monthly CPYC regatta\'s which are typically held the first Saturday of the month. Or, buy your own boat and join us!

All meals with Green Salad. Prices vary but will not exceed $15.00/person.
